Swiss Life Group announced plans to eliminate approximately 600 roles by the end of 2028, primarily through natural attrition, as part of efforts to expand profitably and increase operational efficiency beyond 2027. The job cuts will be divided between its Swiss operations and Swiss Life Asset Managers. Concurrently, the insurer reported an 8% increase in first-half (H1) profit, with net profit reaching $801.7 million (SFr649 million) for H1 2026. Operating profit climbed 8% at constant currency to SFr967 million, and fee result grew 11% to SFr430 million.
