First Eagle Global Fund stated in its Q2 investor letter that Google parent company Alphabet (GOOG) delivered strong Q2 results, driven by AI demand and cloud revenue.
The fund noted that Alphabet (GOOG) shares rose in Q2 2026, primarily driven by continued strong future contract revenue in its cloud business, explosive demand for AI infrastructure, robust production of AI-specific storage chips, and resilient digital advertising sales. Google's full-stack AI solutions provide the company with long-term growth momentum and are expected to receive a near-term boost from hosting OpenAI's latest generative AI models.
