German Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt stated that the attack, which involved a drone carrying an explosive device found near Ukrainian cargo planes, followed the "well-established pattern of Russian hybrid operations in Europe." Investigators suspect a second drone also collided with a cargo aircraft. Russia has previously rejected claims of involvement.
