ARK Invest Research Director Valente believes the next crypto bull run will be led by Wall Street institutions rather than retail investors, citing unprecedented institutional interest in stablecoins and tokenized assets.
Valente noted that last week, 38 U.S. state banking associations announced the formation of the BankChain consortium, aiming to provide tokenized deposits and on-chain financial services. Simultaneously, over a dozen banks, including Bank of America and Wells Fargo, are exploring a joint stablecoin project. Earlier this month, nearly 40 major Wall Street institutions, including JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Invesco, participated in trading tests for tokenized stocks and U.S. Treasuries. He stated that the stablecoin market has reached approximately $300 billion, and tokenized assets have grown over 50% this year to about $40 billion, indicating sustained high institutional interest.
