US military says it launched new strikes against Iran's Revolutionary Guards targets following 'attempted attacks' on ships in Strait of Hormuz
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) stated the strikes targeted Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) sites. Iran's semi-official Tasnim news agency reported explosions in the country's south, including Kenerak, Bandar Abbas, and Qeshm Island. These strikes follow an exchange of attacks on Sunday, when the US military struck Larak Island and Tehran retaliated with missile launches against a US troop base in Jordan.
