Google has introduced Google Pics, a new AI-powered image creation and editing tool designed to compete with platforms like Canva and Adobe Express. The tool, which emphasizes AI prompting over traditional design, is driven by Google’s Nano Banana image generation model and will be integrated into Google Workspace, starting with Docs and Slides today. It will roll out to most Workspace customers and Google AI Pro/Ultra subscribers in the coming weeks.
