Google announced five Android updates on Tuesday, aiming to enhance the accessibility, utility, and personalization of phones. Among them, the "Motion Assist" feature responds to vehicle movement with an on-screen bubble overlay, helping Android 17 users reduce motion sickness when using their phone in a moving vehicle. Another feature, "Guided Vision," combines the phone's camera with Gemini AI to help blind or low-vision users read small print, view menus, or identify objects, providing voice guidance. This feature is available for Android 9 and above.

Additionally, the updates include a new "Remember Things" feature for Gemini AI, allowing users to tell Gemini where items are stored and attach photos; Google Keep integration into Google Messages, enabling users to share and edit lists directly within conversations; and new personalization options for Google Messages, supporting custom chat backgrounds, photos, and colors.
