British wind-propulsion company Anemoi seeks closer ties with South Korean shipbuilders and shipping companies
Anemoi Marine Technologies, a British company specializing in wind propulsion, is looking to strengthen its partnerships with South Korean shipbuilders and shipping firms. This move comes as the industry faces increasing pressure to reduce fuel consumption and emissions. Anemoi co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer Nick Contopoulos stated last week that South Korea offers world-class shipbuilding, sophisticated shipowners, and strong marine engineering capabilities. Anemoi develops Rotor Sails, which are tall spinning cylinders installed on ships to harness wind power.
