The relief organisation Save the Children reported on Wednesday that despite agreements between Lebanon's government and Israel to halt fighting, children remain at risk due to Israel's ongoing aggression towards civilian infrastructure. Over the last six months, at least 257 children have been killed and 1,039 injured. The group noted that 340 schools have been damaged or destroyed, putting 100,000 children at risk of missing the next school year.
