South Korea's Naver Cloud selected for government-backed cybersecurity AI model project
The Ministry of Science and ICT announced Thursday that a consortium led by Naver Cloud Corp. was chosen for a government project to develop an artificial intelligence foundation model specialized in cybersecurity. Naver Cloud, the cloud and AI arm of portal operator Naver Corp., outperformed a rival consortium led by SK Telecom Co. due to its strong industry-academia-research partnership, technological capabilities, and development strategy.
