Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) reported revenue of $12.2 billion for the fiscal quarter ending July, a 34% year-over-year increase, surpassing analysts' expectations of $12.0 billion. Adjusted earnings per share reached $1.11, also exceeding market estimates of 93 cents. The company projects its revenue for the next fiscal quarter (ending October) to exceed the FactSet consensus by approximately $1.3 billion at the midpoint. HPE raised its full-year revenue growth forecast for fiscal year 2026 to 34% to 37% and set its revenue growth forecast for fiscal year 2027 between 13% and 17%. HPE's cloud and AI business saw revenue grow 25% year-over-year to $9.0 billion this quarter, with server revenue increasing 35% to $6.8 billion and networking revenue up 75% to $2.9 billion. The company's CFO stated that enterprise customers are actively deploying AI applications, with over two-thirds of HPE's approximately $6.3 billion in AI order backlog coming from enterprise and sovereign clients.
