Norway has seized the Russian vessel "Professor Molchanov" in the Arctic region to enforce Ukrainian energy company Naftogaz's claim against Russia for Crimea compensation. This follows Russia's failure to pay Naftogaz $4.22 billion in compensation for the expropriation of its Crimean assets. A Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson called Norway's action "piracy" and stated that Russia would challenge the ruling.
