This move signals that the competition among major tech companies for general-purpose agents is rapidly extending into the financial sector. Previously, Baidu had already prioritized financial applications for GenFlow (Chinese name "Kuku AI") as a key step from general office use to specialized professional applications. ByteDance's Coze has also introduced financial agents and skills from institutions such as Huatai Securities and GF Securities. Major tech companies are optimistic that a large volume of repetitive tasks in high-value financial businesses can be taken over by agents. However, challenges such as data accuracy, traceability, and execution permissions still persist. Currently, there is no consensus among these companies on whether a separate financial version of agents needs to be developed.
