The Alliance for Automotive Innovation, representing most car sales companies in the United States, stated in a letter to congressional leaders on Thursday that Chinese automakers are globally dumping subsidized vehicles equipped with connected software and hardware. Although this has not yet occurred within the United States, given the scale and urgency of the threat, the Alliance called on Congress to pass a permanent ban on Chinese vehicles, software, and hardware into law before the current session concludes on January 3.
