Jotaro Tamura, CEO of Mitsui OSK Lines, one of the world's largest tanker operators, said on Thursday that given the renewed escalation of tensions between the US and Iran, it is difficult to foresee any form of normalization of shipping operations in the Strait of Hormuz this year, and the company currently has no plans to resume operations on that route.
