Energy Fuels Inc. acquired Australian Strategic Materials' operating metals and alloys business, including the Korean Metals Plant (1,300 tonnes per year of NdFeB alloy production capacity) and the Dubbo Rare Earths Project in Australia, through this acquisition. The total consideration for the transaction is approximately $243.4 million, consisting of $217.2 million in stock and $26.2 million in cash. The company plans to increase the Korean Metals Plant's alloy production capacity to 3,600 tonnes per year and has proposed the acquisition of VACUUMSCHMELZE to expand its finished magnet manufacturing capabilities, with the transaction expected to close in early 2027. As of June 30, 2026, Energy Fuels had approximately $996 million in working capital.
