Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health announced that an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese town of Kfar Reman on Friday resulted in two deaths. Lebanon's National News Agency reported that the attack occurred near the strategically important Ali al-Taher ridge in Nabatieh. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed on the same day that the Israeli military had cleared Hezbollah militants from tunnels beneath the ridge. Since Israel launched a new round of military operations against Lebanon on March 2, more than 4,000 people have been killed, at least 12,000 injured, and over a million displaced.
