Yahoo Finance cited analysis suggesting that Bitcoin's current price is relatively cheap based on its past four-year market cycle performance. As of September 1st, Bitcoin's price was $77,155, 38% lower than its all-time high of $126,080 reached in October 2025.
Furthermore, Charles Edwards, founder of crypto investment firm Capriole Investments, stated on July 24th that Bitcoin's price at the time was $65,270, approximately 40% below its energy value. According to data from September 2nd, Bitcoin's energy value is around $107,773, implying a current discount of about 27%. Analysts believe that the hash rate remaining below the average production cost for an extended period, and still being 33% lower than its September 2025 peak, strongly indicates that Bitcoin's price is significantly undervalued.
