USA Rare Earth (USAR) is set to acquire Brazil's Serra Verde rare-earth mine, expected to close before its next earnings report in early November.
The acquisition is projected to significantly boost USAR's financials, with Serra Verde forecast to generate $550 million to $650 million in annualized EBITDA by the end of 2027. Serra Verde has also secured a 15-year take-or-pay agreement with US SIIE, backed by $750 million in U.S. government funding.
