Berkshire Hathaway CEO Greg Abel repurchased approximately $4.5 billion of the company's own stock in Q2 2026, while also buying shares of Google parent company Alphabet, making it Berkshire's third-largest holding. In July of this quarter (Q3), Abel further repurchased over $3.3 billion of Berkshire Hathaway stock. Abel ended Warren Buffett's previous six-quarter streak of not repurchasing the company's own stock in Q1 2026.
