EPAM Systems (EPAM) Pivots to Cybersecurity Amid Core Business Slowdown
EPAM Systems (EPAM) announced a partnership with Wiz, the cloud and AI security platform now owned by Google Cloud, on August 25. This strategic shift aims to bolster growth as its core business decelerates, with second-quarter revenue growth slowing to 4.5% and full-year guidance projecting 3.2% to 4.2% growth. Third-quarter revenue growth is expected to be even softer, at roughly 1.7%. Despite the top-line slowdown, the company's GAAP diluted EPS rose 26.3% to $1.97, and non-GAAP diluted EPS increased 22% to $3.38.
