Mizuho lowers Intel's price target from $109 to $92, but remains bullish on its AI business.
Mizuho lowered its price target for Intel (Intel) on September 3, but the firm's report was more bullish on Intel's business than the price target suggested. Mizuho noted that Intel benefits from multiple operational tailwinds, including Agentic AI demand, enterprise server refreshes, improved PC demand, and potential foundry business growth. However, CPU supply constraints and the recent valuation compression of Agentic AI stocks led Mizuho to maintain a neutral stance. The report also indicated that 138 hedge funds held Intel shares at the end of Q2, up from 112 in the previous quarter, signaling increased institutional investor interest.
