Morgan Stanley strategists stated in a report that they expect the Eurozone bond yield curve to steepen again by 2027, which will prompt debt management offices to continue gradually shortening the weighted average maturity. They believe that, with the exception of Spain, the four major economies of Germany, Italy, France, and Spain still have room to issue new 30-year bonds. Additionally, Morgan Stanley strategists anticipate that the Netherlands, Finland, and possibly Portugal will also issue 30-year bonds.
