Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), a top-tier Silicon Valley venture capital firm, released an in-depth podcast interview on September 10. Partners Jen Kha and David George, along with Aram Verdiya, Partner at Accolade Partners, unanimously agreed that AI is transforming the "power law effect" from a characteristic of the VC industry into a systemic rule across the entire capital market. They pointed out that for the first time, capital can be directly converted into computing power, strengthening corporate moats, while traditional SaaS assets unable to achieve AI-nativity face severe risks. The interview mentioned that AI revenue reached $100 billion in just four years, compared to 15 years for SaaS. Among 3,000 VCs in the US, only 20, less than 1%, achieved a sustained 3x net return over the past two decades.
