SpaceX CFO Bret Johnsen stated at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia & Tech conference that the company plans to launch its first orbital computing satellites (i.e., space data centers) next year, with a large-scale deployment of significant computing power into space expected by 2028. Johnsen also revealed that a Starship flight will take place later this month, marking its first revenue-generating mission, carrying V3 Starlink satellites.
