Shein's Hong Kong-listed shares fell by as much as 10% after Australia and New Zealand issued an urgent recall for one of its contact lens cleaning solutions due to concerns about bacterial contamination. New Zealand's Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment announced last Friday that contact lens samples tested positive for Burkholderia cepacia complex, a bacterial contaminant found in the lens packaging solution, which could cause eye infections or irritation. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission also issued a similar recall. Shein's Hong Kong-listed shares are currently trading at HK$36.26, down 9.49%.
