The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) disclosed that as of September 11, 13 Chinese fund companies, including Boda Fund, Eastmoney Fund, Taixin Fund, Oriental Alpha, Suxin Fund, Quanguo Fund, China Universal Fund, Hengyue Fund, Boyuan Fund, Huiquan Fund, Yimin Fund, Huibaichuan, and Ruida Fund, have submitted applications for the second batch of amortized cost method bond funds. These products are reopening for applications five years after regulators suspended their acceptance in 2021.

This batch of bond funds uniformly sets a 63-month closed-end period, terminating upon maturity, with a maximum fundraising size of 8 billion yuan per fund. Including the 15 companies from the first batch of applications on August 14, a total of 28 products have been submitted across both batches. Additionally, on the evening of September 3, the first batch of 10 fund managers submitted applications for STAR Market bond OTC index funds. Regarding custody arrangements, Industrial Bank is expected to take the lead, with SPD Bank and CITIC Bank potentially tied for second place.
