Kalshi, a prediction market, plans to allow customers to trade single-stock perpetual futures contracts in the U.S., including those linked to major U.S. stocks like Tesla and Nvidia. The company is also adding perpetual futures tied to agriculture commodities such as corn and wheat. Kalshi is reportedly seeking joint regulatory approval from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for these never-expiring, leveraged contracts, which have historically been associated with cryptocurrencies.
