Schroders' wealth management arm is considering acquisitions to support its "transformational growth strategy," according to its head, Oliver Gregson, in his first interview. This move aims to shift the business's focus towards high-net-worth clients, increase fee income, and expand its presence in the UK and overseas high-net-worth markets. Previously, Schroders agreed to sell £9.9 billion (approximately $13.5 billion) in assets to Nuveen and scale back its mass affluent business.
