TNR Gold, a Canadian-listed mining company, announced it has initiated an investigation into Eucalyptus Resources Opportunities Fund 1, LP and its principal, Jon Christian Evensen. TNR Gold suspects that Eucalyptus Resources may have engaged in undisclosed coordination with other shareholders to jointly vote or act in concert to acquire TNR shares prior to the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on September 22, in violation of legally mandated disclosure requirements. TNR has requested Eucalyptus to provide all necessary disclosures and stated it will actively investigate the matter to ensure compliance with securities laws.
