DeFi bridge Symbiosis was hacked, with the attackers exploiting two software vulnerabilities to mint 46 billion unsupported fake syBTC tokens using just 25 cents worth of Bitcoin, a quantity more than 2,000 times Bitcoin's maximum supply. Symbiosis's preliminary estimate of the loss is 9.97 Bitcoin.
