The Canadian company announced it has secured C$340m (approximately US$245m) in financing, completing the funding package for the construction of its Marathon copper-palladium project in north-western Ontario. The financing includes anchor investments from the Canada Growth Fund (CGF) and Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB), as well as a C$200m bought deal arrangement led by BMO Capital Markets. Generation Mining has also signed an offtake agreement with Glencore for the project's polymetallic copper concentrate.
