On September 15, Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance announced that the AITO brand will explore a new model under the cooperation framework, with SERES leading product definition, product design, brand marketing, channel retail, and service system, while Huawei Terminal will participate in empowerment. Insiders revealed that some original Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance stores will also be transferred to SERES, only displaying and selling AITO models, and AITO will form an independent sales channel. SERES management believes that it has the capability to undertake product and service work under the new model and will have greater operational freedom. AITO's high-end luxury positioning remains unchanged, and existing user rights and subsequent services will not be affected. This adjustment aims to allow SERES, which bears the investment and operating results of the complete vehicle, to more directly coordinate product pace and return on investment. SERES reported a net loss attributable to the parent company of 1.717 billion yuan in the first half of this year, and its August car sales decreased by 49.68% year-on-year, facing operational pressure.
