Nikkei Asia analysis indicates that despite the Indian government offering billions of rupees in incentives for data center projects by companies like Google and Amazon, these projects are not expected to directly create a large number of jobs. India currently generates about 20% of global data but accounts for only 4% of the world's data center capacity. Job creation has become a critical issue amid concerns of "jobless growth."
