JPMorgan Chase's report on September 17 showed that the pre-order delivery times for the iPhone 18 Pro series significantly extended in the middle of the first week of sales. The Pro Max model has now caught up with last year's iPhone 17 cycle, and the Pro model has also substantially narrowed the gap, alleviating previous market concerns about weak demand.
The report noted that as of September 16, the global average delivery times for the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max were 19 days and 26 days, respectively. Analysts believe that the shorter delivery times in the first week were a result of initial inventory being concentrated on high-end models, rather than a signal of weak demand. The Chinese market still represents the largest year-over-year gap, with delivery times of 25 days and 29 days, lower than the same period last year. Apple's stock price closed at $332.41 as of September 16, and JPMorgan Chase maintained an "Overweight" rating.
