Google is repositioning its AI assistant CC as a home management tool to help families coordinate schedules, tasks, and other affairs.
Google announced that its AI assistant, CC, will focus on household coordination, allowing family members to share emails, schedules, and tasks. This enables the AI to manage calendars, fill out forms, create shopping lists, and plan meals, among other things. This move is based on user feedback indicating that people prefer AI to assist with household management tasks, such as keeping track of children's school schedules and bills. CC will have its own Google account and support up to six family members sharing information and collaborating with the AI assistant. Currently, this feature is only available to users in the United States aged 18 and above who have a personal Gmail account. New users can join a waitlist.
