Germany receives first F-35 fighter jet from Lockheed Martin, ordered in 2022
Germany has received its first F-35A Lightning II fighter jet, part of an order for 35 F-35As placed in 2022. This delivery is aimed at modernizing Germany's military and fulfilling NATO nuclear-sharing duties, replacing its aging Tornado fleet.
