CICC Research's report indicates that AI Agents are evolving from conversation to task execution. Meta's personal AI Agent, Muse, launched in the US on September 8th, leverages Meta's existing distribution base of 3.6 billion daily active users and the long-term content and behavioral context accumulated on WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook, rather than solely relying on AI model capabilities. The report suggests that 2C Agents represent a significant evolutionary direction for AI applications, but their scaling speed depends on when both technological effectiveness and usage costs simultaneously cross the user threshold. Muse already possesses capabilities such as asynchronous background execution, long-term memory, real account connection, isolated execution, and approval gating, and is exploring the nascent form of recommendation-based Agents.
