In a speech in Geneva, Philip R. Lane, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, unveiled the ECB's September macroeconomic projections, forecasting HICP inflation for the Eurozone at 3.0% in 2026, 2.5% in 2027, and 2.1% in 2028. Compared to the June projections, the HICP inflation forecast for 2026 remained unchanged, while those for 2027 and 2028 were revised up by 0.2 and 0.1 percentage points, respectively.
