ECB's Lane: Eurozone's real GDP is projected to grow by 0.9% in 2026 and 1.4% in 2027.
Philip R. Lane, Member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank, unveiled the ECB's September macroeconomic projections in a speech in Geneva, forecasting real GDP growth for the euro area at 0.9% in 2026, 1.4% in 2027, and 1.5% in 2028. Compared to the June projections, the real GDP forecasts for 2026 and 2027 were revised up by 0.1 and 0.2 percentage points, respectively, while the 2028 forecast remained unchanged.
