Ricursive Intelligence co-founder to discuss how AI designs its own hardware at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026
Anna Goldie and Azalia Mirhoseini, co-founders of Ricursive Intelligence, will discuss the closed loop between AI and chip development at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, held in San Francisco from October 13-15. The company is dedicated to developing AI that automates and accelerates chip design, aiming to shorten chip design cycles from years to weeks. Ricursive Intelligence was founded in late 2025, raising $335 million in four months at a $4 billion valuation, with NVIDIA as one of its investors. While at Google, the two founders jointly led the AlphaChip project, an AI system capable of generating chip layouts in hours and assisting in the design of multiple generations of Google's Tensor Processing Units.
