XRP Ledger's Batch upgrade slips to Oct. 9 after validator support briefly fell below 80% threshold, resetting activation clock
The Batch feature allows users to bundle up to eight transactions, such as asset and payment transfers. Its activation was delayed from Sept. 29 as validator support briefly dropped below the required 80% threshold, restarting its two-week countdown. The corrected upgrade, BatchV1_1, regained support on Sept. 25, setting its earliest activation for Oct. 9. Another upgrade, PermissionDelegationV1_1, also saw its activation pushed from Oct. 5 to Oct. 8 due to similar support issues.
