A senior fellow at King's College London's Department of War Studies writes in Al Jazeera that the Houthis' offensive on the Red Sea coast was aided by a fused Russian-Iranian command system, which integrated Russian space-based geospatial and signals intelligence with Iranian command-and-control. This sophisticated system, however, creates vulnerabilities in its reliance on secure communications, specialist personnel, intelligence-fusion nodes, technical advisers, and continuous links between Sanaa and battlefield headquarters. These vulnerabilities are now being targeted.
