OKX founder and CEO Star Xu said THORChain’s TSS vaults are collectively controlled by validators, which can move underlying assets once the signing threshold is reached. He argued that THORChain therefore acts as an intermediary between users and native chains and should not be directly compared with Bitcoin or Ethereum’s base-layer consensus. THORChain documentation says TSS vault spending requires a two-thirds supermajority.
