During the Apsara Conference, Huo Jia, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group, stated that this year marks the true first year of AI application adoption, four years after large models began to be genuinely implemented. He pointed out that the main reasons for enterprise AI project failures are not due to models being insufficiently intelligent, but rather incorrect scenario selection, overestimating their own data, or continuing to use traditional IT project methodologies. Huo Jia believes that enterprises should first "cut a batch of pseudo-scenarios" for AI implementation and suggested saying "no" to clients while deploying engineers to client sites. He also mentioned that the explosion in token consumption and price increases signal the start of the AI application race, emphasizing that business models should shift towards "results as a service" or long-term service contracts, rather than traditional man-day billing.
