Binance to temporarily suspend Base network deposits and withdrawals on September 30 for network upgrade
Binance announced it will suspend deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Base network around 17:00 (UTC) on September 30, 2026, to support the upcoming Base network upgrade and hard fork (Cobalt upgrade). The upgrade, scheduled for approximately 18:00 (UTC) on the same day, aims to improve the B20 token standard, add validity transactions, and introduce dynamic node upgrades. Trading of tokens on the Base network will not be affected, and services will resume once the upgraded network is stable, without a separate announcement.
