Accenture: Hong Kong Enterprises Lag Behind Mainland China in AI Adoption, With Only 10% Integrating Generative AI
Hong Kong businesses are lagging behind their mainland Chinese counterparts in artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, primarily due to entrenched legacy systems and a risk-averse corporate mindset that slows down digital transformation, according to Robert Hah, a senior executive at Accenture. An Accenture survey revealed that only 10% of Hong Kong enterprises have integrated generative AI across multiple business functions, compared to approximately 21% of mainland Chinese enterprises.
