Dan Ives, former head of tech research and a prominent analyst at Wedbush Securities, has launched the "Ives Ultra AI Opportunities" closed-end fund through his company, Yorkville Ives & Co. The fund plans to issue 20 million shares of common stock at $10 per share, aiming to raise a total of $200 million, to provide investors with access to unlisted AI companies. The fund will focus on private, late-stage AI companies in the U.S. and select non-U.S. regions, and plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "IVAI".
