In a speech delivered on Wednesday on behalf of King Salman, he noted that Saudi Arabia officially signed a trilateral defense agreement with Turkey and Pakistan in August and formed a "multinational defensive maritime alliance" to ensure common interests in international waterways. MBS also condemned the Houthis for using international waterways as a tool for political or economic pressure.
