LG Electronics will invest $110 million (150 billion Korean won) to build a cooling system factory in Virginia, USA, with production expected to begin in the first half of 2027. The factory will primarily produce air-cooled chiller units for AI data centers to meet the growing cooling demands of these facilities. LG also plans to expand its production in South Korea.
